Meet the Deisters. They’ve been though some hard times – both Jerome, an engineer, and Candace, a part-time worker and stay-at-home mom, are cancer survivors. They haven’t let adversity get them down, though. They’ve survived illnesses and layoffs, and they’re still going strong.
Their credit history is great, they’re smart with their spending, and they’ve kept on top of overwhelming debts by refinancing their home. They would, however, like to have a little extra cash on hand to save up for the looming college costs for their three children – Natalie, 16, Nicholas, 14, and Georgiana, 5.
With the help of their financial coaches, the Deisters will have the power to plow through their debt and organize their budget. After that, it’ll be smooth sailing to more secure financial times.
Read the Deisters’ blog to learn about their progress.
