I was working last weekend and one of the nurses asked me what I was going to get Jason for Father’s day. When I replied “Jelly Beans,” she was appalled! “Jelly Beans? That’s all?” After the discouragement had passed from the sure-to-be-insult, I started thinking about what I could get Jason that wouldn't cost money and he would like. Everything I could think of had some kind of cost associated with it. So the conclusion I came to, was that Jason and I gave the best gift to one other almost 7 years ago -- each other! We then gave each other the best 2 gifts anyone could be blessed to have -- our little boys! My life is filled with gifts everyday when I get to kiss them good night and tuck them into bed. Jason is truly my Hero for being the wonderful Father that he is. He saves me every day that he comes home from work and I am so thankful for that. Jason’s dad has been gone for several years and we are thankful for every day that we get to spend with the ones we love. Happy Father’s Day Mike! Happy Father’s day to all the wonderful Father’s in our lives! You have no idea what an impact you have on us every day! And to all of those Father’s who got “Jelly Beans” for Father’s day, I hope they were your favorite flavor!
